Sea Angling Portrush
Fishing at either anchor or on the drift.
There are many species in our waters such as cod, haddock, whiting, coalfish, pollock, dogfish, plaice, dab, flounder, garfish, mackerel, herring, launce, blonde ray, thornback ray, homelyn ray, cuckoo ray, common skate, ling, turbot, brill, tope, grey gurnard, red gurnard, tub gurnard, spurdog, conger, bullhuss, torsk, ballen wrasse, cuckoo wrasse, corkwing wrasse.
These are the species I have had on the Lady Karen when in season.
The cuckoo ray record was set on my fathers boat Lady Karen in 1974 and has not been broken yet. I have come close, within 1oz of the record.
The Lady Karen can also be used for sightseeing from Portrush to the Skerrie Islands to see seals, wild birds and even wild rabbits, see if you can spot the black ones.
